On this tour, you will learn about how the Boruca people live in harmony with nature, how it supports them, and the significance behind their lifestyle and identity.

**Tour Highlights:**

– **Mask Workshop:** 

Experience a demonstration of the process of carving and painting traditional Boruca masks, along with an overview of their cultural history and significance. With the assistance of a local artisan, you will also have the opportunity to paint your own Boruca mask, providing you with an authentic indigenous experience.

– **Cotton Weaving Demonstration:** 

A local weaver will showcase the art of making cotton yarn, using natural dyes and creating intricate designs and fabrics.

– **Medicinal Plants Talk:** 

Discover the medicinal plants utilized by the Boruca people and learn how they have relied on these plants throughout their history. They will discuss the various plants, leaves, and barks used for medicinal treatments.

– **If time permits:** 

Visit the local museum to explore the community contributions featured in the exhibits. You can purchase handmade products to support local artisans.
