The guide makes several stops to inform us about the area and the plants and animals we see.<\/p><p>The kayaking tour highlight was the many monkeys we saw jumping through the forest. However, we also observed a variety of crabs, birds, and bats.<\/p><p>Going further along the river, we arrived at a spot where we stopped and got out of the water to take a break.<\/p><p>As easy as it may look, kayaking is a real workout for your arms and incredibly exhausting in the hot Costa Rican weather.\u00a0<\/p><p>Unas hermosas palmeras y el r\u00edo rodeaban el lugar donde hicimos una parada. Bebimos un poco de agua y comimos unas deliciosas pi\u00f1as frescas. Despu\u00e9s, nuestro gu\u00eda nos trajo un coco de una de las palmeras y nos lo abri\u00f3. El resultado fue agua de coco fresca y \u00abcopra\u00bb (la pulpa del coco).<\/p><p>When looking for activities in Costa Rica, you should consider doing <a href=\"https:\/\/enjoyosa.com\/es\/trip\/kayaking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a kayakingtour<\/a> through the Terraba mangroves. You also participate in some physical activities while seeing the beautiful and peaceful nature.<\/p><p>We took a three-hour tour with friends in the small town of Coronado. First, the guide gives some instructions on how to kayak correctly.<\/p><p>When everyone was seated on their kayaks, the kayaking tour could begin. At first, navigating the small &#8220;water streets&#8221; in the mangroves was challenging because the person sitting in the back had to paddle and steer simultaneously, while the person in the front had to do nothing.<\/p><p>Getting synchronized with your partner is more complicated than it looks, especially navigating the curves and not hitting the trees was a challenge for us.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b34847 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"4b34847\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/enjoyosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Kayak-in-Rio-Terraba-mangroves-1280x540.jpg\" class=\"attachment-travel-agency-full size-travel-agency-full wp-image-1609\" alt=\"Enjoy Osa Kyaking Tour\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4cd43be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4cd43be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After the brief break, we got back on our kayaks and paddled back. On our way back, we saw the monkeys jumping in the bushes and trees on the side of the river.<\/p><p>We stopped for a while to look at them. After that, we returned to the starting point. When we were almost back, we saw more monkeys using tree branches to cross the river above our heads.<\/p><p>We were exhausted from the long tour when we returned to the starting point.
